The Mask

Stanley Ipkiss, the main character in this story, is a nice and honest person who is working at a bank and he has a little smart dog. Charlie Schumaker is his friend of the bank. Tina Carlyle is a beautiful woman who is one of robbers and she is also a singer. Dorian Tyrell is a boss of the robbers. Peggy Brandt is a reporter, who was an adviser on lives.

When Ipkiss is working in the bank, Tina comes in the bank. She asks what has to do for having an account but during it, she is taking in the bank secretly for prepare to steal money. He doesn’t know about that and he falls in love her. After that, he goes to take his car which left at a shop. He asked just to put oil when he left it, but they say the car can’t use anymore. Then he borrows a car which is too old. The car breaks on his way home so he is puzzled. That time, he find a person who is nearly down in the sea and he jump in the sea for help, however, it is a mask covered trash. He brings the mask and goes back to his room. It is already night. He stares the mask and suddenly, the mask cling his face. As the time, his character changes to a strange and fantastic wild fellow like animations. He gets special powers by the mask. He goes to out and behaves.

Next morning, he gets up in his bed. He doesn’t have the mask on his face so he thinks it is just a dream but it is not. He through out the mask to out side from a window. But the mask comes back the room and he becomes the mask man without his mind at the night. He steals money from the bank that the robbers would steal the money. Then he goes in the party hole with the money for meet Tina. The robbers come the hole and shoot him but it doesn’t hit.

He gets up and surprises because there is the money and a policeman who is calling him is through over the door, however he goes back. After that, the robbers catch him and go to his room to look for the money. They find it and take on their car. Stanley’s dog follows it. The robbers through out Stanley in front of police station, so he is put in the prison. Tina comes there to meet him and decides to hide from the robbers, following Tina. Stanley goes out the police station with helping his dog. As the while, Dorian who has the mask on his face is in the hole. He ties Tina’s body on a tree in the hole and sets a time bomb. Stanley arrives the hole and get out the mask and he become the mask man, helping Tina by the power. After that, he throws out the mask in the sea.

When I saw the mask first, I thought this story is maybe scary because the mask is so strange, but it was exciting movie. He is like a clown. The movie tells me what too strong desires always make bad happening. I think it is interesting that difference of two character of Stanley and I like Tina. I thought that she is really bad person, first, but I don’t think so now. I think she is good woman but she loved bad man so she has to do bad things. I am glade that she could free from Dorian at last. I’d like to have a dog like the dog because I often lose something.
