The main hero in that story is Dink who is clever boy. He has good friends Josh and Ruth Rose. josh is . Rose has a good acting ability. She has a little brother Nate who is four years old.
One day, they play volleyball and then Rose find a blue envelope in Dink's mailbox. He has received four blue envelopes these days. It is from D.Duncan, but he doesn't know the name and the fifth envelope is also written what from D.Duncan. He open it and he surprises because it is empty.
After that, a woman comes to his house and she say she is Doris Duncan so she wants to get back her letters. then Dink go to take it which on a table, however there is no letters. He looks for it,but it hasn't so he promise to her that he gives it at six o'clock. After while, he finds it in the refrigerator because Nate put it there, playing mailman with his staff.
However, they think it is strange because it has tree stamp on, so they research it and they find a stamp under the stamps. They think why the stamp was hidden and they go to library because they think it is stolen for expensive it. It is right so they talk that what they have to do. For the time being, they go back home because it is the time of the promise.
